This will probably be split into two groups: A level 70 leveling group and the new Death knight leveling group.
We will have PTR Experienced players on the premises that know the terrain.
Drop where you flop..we are not responsible for your belongings!
BYOC - Means Bring your own Computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, mousepad etc.
No streaming audio or video, and no downloading/uploading will be permitted during the event.
You are responsible to ensure your computer is ready to go and free of viruses!
We are be taking down 1/2 of our computer systems for new upgrades. The New systems feature AMD Am2 x2 4600 processors and 2 gigs of paired Twinx Corsair memory. These systems will enable us to support anything new coming out for a few years to come!
Web Site update. Though Php-Fusion had a lot of promise, the developers have dropped the ball and the project has stagnated. Meanwhile, the dev's over at Future Nuke have announced that the old Php-platinum code has been completely re-written and is soon to be made public.
The new version which will supersede Php-Platinum 7.5x will be called Genesis and promises to be rock solid. Platinum was the foundation of our previous huge Web Site for MECHNET and we look foward to this new release called Genesis.
MECHNET GAME CENTER will be overhauling and rebuilding all our game computers over the next few weeks. This is necessary to get rid off all the old code that may be bogging the computers down and to move to a different and more widely accepted use of daemon tools which our smartlaunch system is designed around.
Over the next few weeks we will be tearing down and rebuilding all of our gaming computers. While we are not actually upgrading anything..we are completely taking Windows down and restoring a clean system, and re-install of all games and software under a new file launching system. This should improve performance and synchronize your settings between all machines. Previously we used a system called VirtualCD...and are replacing it with the more accepted daemon tools that our smartlaunch system is designed around.
FINALLY! MECHNET GAME CENTER WEBSITE IS BACK ONLINE. The long delay was due to the lack of support on the old php-platinum code we had built previously. PHP-Platinum is now defunct and no-longer supported. We have incorporated this Fusion Web which is much faster. Over the next few weeks we will be bringing back all the lost content and graphics that made our webspace unique!.
Added:Oct, 2008...Fusion web requires a new concept called "Infusions" to make anything work correctly. Infusions are broken and the dev team at php-Fusion do not seem to big on fixing it. Php-Fusion has basically tanked in developement and it prevents us from adding content and functionality to this web site. Though it had promise...we will look elsewhere for a platform on which to build our next great gaming portal.
